The Gardens, Verandas, Lavoir & Pond -
The gardens are fully enclosed and offer a peaceful setting for sunbathing, relaxing, dining or just enjoying. We have several different areas within the gardens so there is always a different aspect to see and a quiet corner to find. The raised veranda has armchairs and a parasol for shade. The side veranda has a sloping roof for shade and is equipped with a large dining table and chairs and a BBQ for relaxing and outdoor dining. Our Lavoir sits behind the well in the front garden and is in three sections. The well was the original water source and the Lavoir the original 'washing machine' for the Presbytere, it is now home to wildlife and our fish.

Time to wander and exploreL'Ancien Presbytere is located in the Cotes D'Armor: the heart of Brittany and offers the perfect base to explore and discover all that is on offer in this stunning part of the world. Some of our favourite places close by .......
Josselin quaint and unspoilt with its beautiful chateau and stunning architecture is well worth a visit. You could quite easily spend a day here, as we often do and you will also find plenty of places to refresh with coffee and pastries or a wonderful selection of places to dine.

Lac de Guerledan one of the hidden secrets of the area, here you will find your closest beach and swimming; there is something for everyone an idyllic mix of natural beauty, outdoor activities and water sports and a cruise boat. There are also a number of cafes and restaurants on and around the lake. We love to sit lakeside at the Merlin with the view along the lake and shores. Or ramble around the lakeside paths, anytime of year is beautiful here.

The Nantes to Brest canal offers a beautiful journey through Brittany! It is a nature lovers paradise and it's towpaths are perfect for walking, biking or running. Unspoilt and just waiting for your visit, why not take a picnic?
